Designed by Roland Reiner Tiangco, Dirt Poster requires your participation to complete it. The back side of each poster is covered with a layer of ink, which you need to “paint” onto the front side the poster, to reveal the message that has been spot-varnished onto the paper. Awesome! The poster is limited edition and can be bought for $80.

Solar gadget chargers are the rage these days, as we try and rethink our everyday energy use. But it’s really window dressing on the greater problem: Over a two year period, the energy used to make a phone is three times greater than the energy used to operate it.
The solution, naturally, is to use our electronics for longer. But how do you pull that off, when Apple releases a new phone every year?
Designer James Barber has an idea: A cell phone whose guts you could readily replace as new technology arises, and whose case is made out of materials that are 85% recyclable.

The Japanese retail brand MUJI and LEGO teamed up to develop a set of 4 different boxes. Inside those boxes you’ll find the classic LEGO bricks but also a few sheets of paper. No big deal. But when you also have the right punch hole tool, you can combine both to create something new.
