1. Music. Dance. Clock.

There is a nice balance of music and video on this promo site for the Japanese clothing store Uniqlock. I also appreciate that they focus on establishing the brand and showing-off the clothes, instead of trying to do too many things on the page.

    Different from the Competition

Lingerie marketing seems to be all the same sexy direction, it is refreshing to see something different.

“This Japanese television commercial for Wacoal LaLan bras is a fascinating departure from the usual approach to selling intimate apparel in Western cultures. No sultry bedroom eyes, no come-hither looks, no languorous poses. Victoria’s Secret models they are not…” via @issue

  5. Chaquita’s Branding Gets a Little Life

Fun new illustrations in their yellow-blue stickers give the brand more life and personality.

    Beautiful Branding by Sociodesign

This is a great example of how branding is more than a logo.

  7. Unpackaged

The name “Unpackaged” does a great job of getting to the essence of what makes this store different from other grocers. They are selling more than just groceries, they are identifying a dilemma and catering to eco-conscious consumer. Visit their website at http://beunpackaged.com

    notapolo.bandofoutsiders.com

“This is not a polo shirt. is a line of polo shirts from Band of Outsiders. This is a blog about them, and about polo shirts in general.”

Nice way to use a blog to set the tone for the brand and help their search engine ranking.

    Smart Move by Dominos

I have never liked Dominos, but this definitely makes me want to give it a second chance. By listening to their customers they are making their mega chain image more personable and creating a better product.

    thx Sam Rosen

  10. Frolick Pet

“This is a brand that’s slick enough to appeal to a tech and design savvy urban professional, but also friendly and accessible enough for a suburban family…packaging that emphasizes the loving relationship between pets and their owners for the company’s core products.”

I thought these were life-size in store promos, and thought it was a pretty cool idea, but it is just on the site.
